Water levels have risen
slightly afterthe rain in the last few days. Common carp, f1
carp, roach, bream, tench, barble and chub have been caught on
al pools with white maggot, corn, pellet and paste being the
best baits.
Top Pool
White maggot for chub, roach,
f1 carp and bream, up/down in the water. Corn straight lead
against the islands.
Bottom Pool
Bread or corn in the margins
for carp upto 20lb in the late evenings. Pellet for f1 carp,
maggot and silvers.
House Pool
Lots of fish in the margins to
corn/paste. Also fish at 6m to maggot. Maggot feeder to the
islands for bigger carp.
House 2/Extension Pool
Paste has been the best bait
for f1 carp in the margins or out at 10m. Pole feeder to the
islands for better carp. Dead maggot and white maggot for
silvers.
New Pool
Pellet has been the best bait
with 136lb caught on banded pellet up in the water at 8m mid
week. Lots of fish up in the water to white maggot.
Canal Pool
White maggot dominates this
pool fished 4m to 9m up/down in the water for roach, f1 & f2
carp, golden rudd, bream, tench, perch chub and barble.
Club Pool
Pellet or paste has been the
best bait for f1 & f2 carp, bream, tench and roach. Maggot for
barble.
